Geoff Fulton’s career includes employment at Security First Technologies and KPMG, where he worked in the audit department. Geoff is a former chairman of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and currently volunteers with the Fayette County Youth Soccer League, his church and as Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 76 in Fayetteville. His favorite sports are currently basketball and soccer — he’s drawn to what his children (Emma and Walt) are playing.

John Kozak, CPA

John Kozak’s career included positions at Marsh Inc. and KPMG before joining the firm in 1999. He is an adjunct professor at Clayton State University and sits on the Advisory Board for the CSU School of Business. John volunteers both at his church and at a homeless shelter. He’s an avid pro football fan who loves running to offset his other love: Italian food. He shares his home in Avondale Estates with his wife Sheila and dog Murphy.

DJ Fulton, CPA

After founding DJ Fulton CPAs in the 1980′s, DJ became part of Fulton & Kozak CPAs in 1999. DJ stays connected to his community through service with his church, with Meals on Wheels and through his Rotary Club. DJ enjoys addressing difficult situations for his clients, and in his spare time, you’ll find him on the golf course addressing challenging approach shots. DJ lives in Jonesboro with Pat, his wife of 40+ years, and his cat. He has four grown children and four grandchildren.

Roy V. Hall, CPA

Roy Hall joined the firm in 2007 when his practice merged with Fulton & Kozak CPAs. Roy’s career in public accounting  spans three decades. He serves on the Board of Directors of Heritage Bank  as well as the Macedonian Call Foundation, Inc. Roy is an avid Tennessee fan.

Sheila Kozak, CPA, CVA

Sheila Kozak’s career included positions at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, a local CPA firm in Griffin, GA and KPMG, where she specialized in corporate tax and non-profit tax. Sheila is President of Atlanta Women’s Network. She is a veteran marathon runner who also loves golf. Every Friday she indulges her craving for Mexican food and on occasion, she gives into her love of chocolate. Sheila shares her home in Avondale Estates with her dog Murphy and her husband John.

Michelle McGlaun, CPA

A CPA since 2000, Michelle McGlaun has experience in both public and private practice. She has been involved with auditing, acquisitions, software conversions, implementing Sarbanes Oxley and strategic planning. The depth of her experience with internal controls makes it easy for her to work with a variety of business entities. Michelle served in the Georgia Army National Guard and has been a board member for the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce. Michelle makes her home in Stockbridge, GA and has one son.

Dan Soles, CPA

Dan Soles has been part of Fulton & Kozak since 2002 and enjoys being able to show his audit clients how some simple changes in procedures can make their lives easier. Dan is a native Atlantan who says fried chicken is his favorite food, and who makes his home in Hamptom with his wife Brittany. He is currently involved in the Leadership Henry Program, and volunteers extensively with his church.

Jessica Luedeke

Jessica Luedeke is completing her BBA very soon and will begin working on her Master’s in Accounting while reaching the CPA certification requirements. Jessica enjoys working with tax returns and broadening her understanding of real world applications of accounting principles. She makes her home in McDonough and volunteers with her church.

Whitney Purinton

Allen Roark

Allen Roark spent 21 years working with Roy Hall before joining Fulton & Kozak as part of the merger. Allen enjoys using a company’s financial information to bring their business into focus and working with the clients as they move forward. An Atlanta native, Allen lives  in Jonesboro with his wife Cathy.  He volunteers with his church and enjoys football.

Ashley Shepard

Ashley Shepard is a senior at Georgia State and is part of the Robinson College of Business Honors Program. She is the secretary of ASCEND and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She plans to graduate in 2012 and then pursue her Master’s degree in Taxation. Ashley is a native Atlantan who volunteers in the community and in her field, tutoring other accounting students.

Tara Wilson

Caralee Caudelle is the Executive Assistant at Fulton & Kozak, greeting clients in the office and on the phone. Caralee makes her home in Atlanta and is a fan of Chelsea Football Club – part of soccer’s English Premier League.
