John Kozak’s career included positions at Marsh Inc. and KPMG before joining the firm in 1999. He is an adjunct professor at Clayton State University and sits on the Advisory Board for the CSU School of Business. John volunteers both at his church and at a homeless shelter. He’s an avid pro football fan who loves running to offset his other love: Italian food. He shares his home in Avondale Estates with his wife Sheila.
Geoff Fulton is the firm’s partner in charge of assurance services. His experience includes working with clients in the construction, distribution, real estate, and non-profit industries. He lives in Fayetteville, GA with his wife, Tara. He is active in his community by volunteering for youth sports groups.
Sheila Kozak’s career includes positions at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, a local CPA firm in Griffin, GA and KPMG, where she specialized in business and non-profit tax. She has run several 200 mile relay-races with a team of 12 and also loves to golf and box which helps her offset her love for chocolate. Sheila shares her home in Avondale Estates with her husband John.
Dan Soles is one of the firm’s audit partners and has been with the firm since 2002. His experience includes working with employee benefit plans, and clients in government and non-profit industries. He lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Brittany, and two sons, Reid and Grant. He is active in his church and community.
After founding DJ Fulton CPAs in 1984, DJ became part of Fulton & Kozak CPAs in 2004. DJ stays connected with his community through service with his church and through his long time network of friends and community leaders. He has served on Boards of Directors for the Georgia Society of CPA’s, the local Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. DJ enjoys the challenges that the profession provides in the area of taxation as well as in the area of business practice. Out of the office he enjoys golf, family, friends and acting as his cat’s primary staff member. DJ lives in Fayetteville. He has four grown children and eight grandchildren.
Victoria joined team in 2015 after receiving a Master of Accountancy degree from Georgia College. She is a member of the GSCPA and the AICPA. She currently resides in Fayetteville, GA with her husband, Jacob.
Christa Fox has been part of Fulton and Kozak since 2016. She is currently the Bookkeeping Department Manager. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is also proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax needs for clients. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2016 where she was part of the Women’s Soccer team and still continues to coach soccer in her community. Christa currently resides in Fayetteville with her husband Glen and energetic son, Tucker. When she is not working, studying, or coaching she enjoys spending time doing anything outside with Tucker.
Sandi has been with the firm since January 2018. While at Fulton & Kozak, she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. When she is not in the office she enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and taking care of her flock of chickens.
Ryan Miner joined Fulton & Kozak in the summer of 2019 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting at Berry College. Ryan played collegiate tennis at Berry and enjoys playing piano, listening to audiobooks, and hanging out with his friends on the weekends.
Carlos Naranjo is a staff accountant who joined the firm in January 2020. He currently attends Clayton State University as he prepares for the CPA exam. Outside of work he enjoys playing soccer, watching movies and spending time with family. Carlos currently resides in Peachtree City with his brother Alejandro who works on the tax side, and his two younger siblings.
Theo Peykoff joined Fulton & Kozak in the summer of 2019 after completing his MAcc. He is currently working to obtain his CPA license. In his free time, he enjoys working with computers, spending time with his wife Sarah, and baking various sweets and breads. He resides in Decatur.
Jacques Perivier is a staff accountant at the firm. He completed his Master of Accountancy at Georgia College & State University. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is an avid Atlanta sports fan. He also enjoys playing frisbee and skiing in his free time.
Melody Fulmer joined Fulton & Kozak as an intern and returned as a full time Staff Accountant in the summer of 2021. She resides in Covington and in her free time enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and farm animals.
Alejandro Naranjo is a staff bookkeeper who joined the firm in Fall 2018. He is currently attending Georgia State University under the Robinson’s undergraduate accounting program. In his free times, he enjoys traveling, hanging out with his friends and family, and playing soccer.
Joan Richardson is an administrative assistant for Fulton & Kozak. Joan is from London and has lived in the USA since the 90’s. She lived in NY for more than 15 years before moving South. Joan makes her home in Clayton County with her husband Greg. Their 4 children are all grown. She enjoys gardening, crocheting, knitting, walking, reading and all genres of music.
