I Got a Notice from the IRS

Deal with Notice from IRS

Open the Notice - Many Contain Deadlines that Result in Penalties if Ignored

The notice will have a number. The CP14 notice tells you that the IRS thinks you owe money on unpaid taxes.  The LT38 notice tells you that the IRS intends to pursue collections on outstanding tax debt.  The 1153 letter tells you that the IRS is planning to hold you responsible for outstanding tax debt for your company.  The CP75 informs you of an audit of your tax return. Find the deadline and contact Fulton & Kozak's tax team for guidance.

We deal with the IRS all the time.

  • Corresponding with the IRS agent on your behalf to clear up a mistake or negotiate a balance due
  • Preparing for an IRS audit, if necessary
