As a matter of course, we'll review last year's tax return as we prepare to file for the new year. If we see any red flags, we'll let you know. There's nothing wrong with filing an amended return, but there is cost associated with preparing the new return. We can help you decide whether the results are worth the added expense.
There's no requirement to tell them you're moving on. You should have all the records your new CPA will need.
